I dont think so. Am not sure but they may have sold to Doves Morgan. Doves are now in partnership with another local company - It could be Moonlight. Pardon me, lol, I am not really sure. Nyaradzo is good. www.nyaradzo.co.zw/My family have used them several times. It is always best to have funeral insurance/policy. Premiums are around $30 month. That way, you dont have to fuss when the time comes. Moonlight is also good.

Thanks Hrh. I am told that its become a large expense to deal with funerals back home. Have you had any experiance of dealing with the funeral insurance companys and how reliable are they. Hope they are nothing like the medical aid companies who you pay on a monthly basis and then still have to pay when you need treeatment and claim back.

It is a large expense to deal with funerals, and you know how death is like, it comes like a thief, when you least expect it and you are stone broke. Nyaradzo is good and reliable. But your policy matures after a year, but before that you cannot access the benefits. Now that we use USD its not as complicated as during zim dollar era.
Medical Aid companies can be a pain. Although the situation has now improved, its stressful. Now you can at least go to the GP and Specialists without having to top-up, and also you can be admitted in hospital. But sometimes when you need to have emergency surgery the Medical Aid and hospitals can ask you to pay cash then claim, and it wont be small amounts, lol, several thousands.
