Econet has made it easy for anyone in Zimbabwe to have internet access. For a price of US$3 sim card you can surf the net. Once you top up for as little as $1. Once you register with Econet at one of their widely available booths or offices your sim will be active to surf the internet. All you need to register is your Zimbabwean ID and you are sorted. Happy surfing!!!!!

Yes Zim has various broadband providers. Although be rest assured the prices are crazy. 20mbps you are asking for a lot mor like 1.5mbps @$825 a month

seems as though having internet in the home is prohibited by the price!! However there are a number of free wi fi hotspots around, for example there's the one at the Italian Bakery, and there must be more, so it would be quite ok to go have a nice coffee and panino whilst surfing the internet for free!!

Internet access is still an expensive business in Zimbabwe especially on mobiles. There is no such deal as unlimited data. Recent price discovery for me in Zimbabwe 05-2014 my mobile data was $5 for 80mb. This is just absolute daylight robbery. How ever i also discovered that you can get a whatsapp bundle that cost $3 for 30 days but thats just whatssapp nothing else.
